DRESS CODE TO THE CONFEREMENT CEREMONY

All graduands of diploma, bachelor’s degree & postgraduate programmes must observe the following dress code once attending the conferment ceremony:

• Male Graduands:

1. Long sleeve shirt with tie and dark trousers.
2. Hair length should not touch the collar of the shirt.

• Female Graduands:

1. National dress or formal dress.
2. Light coloured tudung (for those who wear tudung).
3. Light coloured attire with long sleeves.
4. Female Indian graduates are ONLY ALLOWED to wear sari (covering the belly) as an option.
5. Female students with long hair are recommended to tie up their hair lower down the neck to avoid difficulties in wearing the mortar board / bonnet.

 Graduands are not allowed to wear the following on stage:

1. ‘Purdah’.
2. Turbans (except for Sikhs).
3. Skirts with slits.
4. Skirts with hemline above the knee.
5. Dresses are made from transparent materials without lining.

Dress code for shoes is as follows:

1. Graduands are advised to wear only black shoes.
2. Graduands are strictly prohibited to wear:

• Striking colored shoes
• High heels and slippery shoes
• Sports shoes
• Sandals and slippers

REGALIA COLLECTION AND TUTORIAL TO WEAR REGALIA

Graduands of diploma, bachelor’s, and postgraduate programs are encouraged to self-collect their own regalia from the Regalia Counter.

Graduand who wishes to send representatives (immediate family members) to collect the regalia on their behalf are required to fill in the ‘Authorization Form to Collect Regalia’ (from website).

The representative must submit it with a copy of the identification card/passport of the representative and copy of graduand’s identification card/passport as proof of authorization.

Please ensure that the following items are obtained from the convocation officer at the regalia collection counter.

a) Mortar board / Bonnet (doctorate)

b) Hood

c) Robe

Convocation fee

Every graduand will be charged a convocation fee of RM500.00. 

Please make all payments before you confirm your attendance for the ceremony by 26 November 2024 (Tuesday) including the Convocation Fee and Outstanding (if any)

*Convocation fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Graduates MUST complete all the processes outlined in all sections in the Study Completion Clearance Form (A) and the Graduation Form (B). Failing to complete any of the sections, collection of the academic transcript, and the scroll is not permitted.

For a graduate, who is unable to attend the Convocation ceremony, please choose one of the options below for the collection of scroll and academic transcript:

1. By Self-collection
   • Email exam@cyberjaya.edu.my for an appointment date after the convocation days.
   • Hardcopy of complete Study Completion Clearance
   • To present Matric card / IC.

2. By Authorised Representative (Immediate family members only)
   • To fill up the Authorisation to Collect 

• Copy of Matric card or IC & copy of identity document of the representative (Passport / IC)

3. By Postage or Courier
