The Malaysian International Integrative Healthcare Conference (MIIHC) 2025, themed “Towards Sustainable Wellness: Integrative
Approaches for an Addiction-Free Society,” brings together healthcare professionals, researchers, policymakers, veterinary
experts, and agricultural practitioners to explore innovative, sustainable, and integrative solutions for addiction prevention and
management.
This conference promotes multidisciplinary approaches by emphasising the holistic interconnectedness of human, animal, and
environmental health. Recognising addiction as a complex issue influenced by biological, psychological, social, and ecological
factors, MIIHC 2025 highlights the critical role of Traditional and Complementary Medicine (T&CM) as a valuable, evidence-based
complement to modern healthcare.
The event supports the Ministry of Health Malaysia’s (MOH) National T&CM Blueprint 2018–2027, which advocates for integrating
T&CM into the national healthcare system. It also aligns with the World Health Organization’s (WHO) Traditional Medicine Strategy
2014–2023, which encourages the safe and effective use of traditional practices to enhance public health and contribute to
sustainable development.
Through collaboration, knowledge exchange, and shared commitment, MIIHC 2025 aims to foster integrative and sustainable
strategies that advance wellness and build the foundation for an addiction-free society.
