Graduate Tracer Study (Sistem Kajian Pengesanan Graduan - SKPG)

Access to the SKPG online survey for ALL UoC Class of 2025 graduates will be available from xx October 2025 until xx February 2026

Overview

Participation in the study is compulsory for all graduates. You are required to complete the online survey by visiting https://great.mohe.gov.my/ and selecting the ‘SKPG’ section. Please ensure that all information provided is accurate. All responses will be treated with strict confidentiality.

Completion of this survey is mandatory and must be done before collecting your convocation robe.

The Graduate Tracer Study, also known as Sistem Kajian Pengesanan Graduan (SKPG), is an annual initiative by the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) aimed at assessing the employment outcomes of graduates after completing their studies.

Key Objectives of the Study:

  • To collect graduates’ feedback on academic programs, campus facilities, and the effectiveness of the teaching and learning experience.
  • To support universities in enhancing the quality of their services and contribute to the continuous improvement of the national higher education system.
  • To evaluate graduate employability and performance in the job market after graduation.

If graduates’ employment status changes, please visit https://great.mohe.gov.my/ and click on ‘SKPG 2.0’. The employment status update can be made the next day after completing SKPG. Graduates are required to update their records when there are changes in employment status and information. Subsequent updates are only allowed the following day.

SKPG GUIDELINES

Follow the guideline below to complete the Graduate Tracer Study / Sistem Kajian Pengesanan Graduan (SKPG). Please ensure you follow the steps carefully and answer all questions.

 

  1. Log in to the website https://great.mohe.gov.my/. You may select your preferred language by clicking the flag icon located at the top right corner of the page.

 

  1. Click on “SKPG”.

  1. Click on “Log In”

 

  1. In the Login section, complete the following information:
  • Identification Card / Passport:
  • Institution Name:

  1. Review and complete the information displayed in Section A. Then, proceed to answer Sections B to G.

  1. EMPLOYMENT STATUS

The selection in Section B: Employment Status will determine which section graduates need to complete:

  • Section C: EMPLOYED, or
  • Section D: UNEMPLOYED

DEFINITION OF EMPLOYED:

Any work that provides wages, profit, or family income, whether working as:

  • Government employee / private sector employee (including NGOs)
  • Employer
  • Self-employed
  • Freelancer
  • Unpaid family worker
  • Medical and pharmacy graduates who undergo housemanship / tutorage; and
  • Law graduates undergoing chambering and receiving a salary/allowance.
  • Gig Economy Workers

You are considered EMPLOYED (full-time/part-time) if you are a Gig Economy Worker, including:

  • GrabFood
  • foodpanda
  • Bungkusit
  • Personal Shopper
  • Dropship Agent
  • Tailor
  • Livestock Farmer
  • Freelancer
  • Food Truck Operator
  • Assisting in family business, and others

DEFINITION OF UNEMPLOYED:

Graduates who are unemployed / not earning during the time of answering the survey, including graduates who :

  • Is awaiting job placement (has received a job offer);
  • Are continuing their studies/waiting for a decision/placement to continue their studies;
  • Is enrolled in a programme to upskill themselves or is attending a short course
